The base matrix of CM Beads 6FF is composed of the highly cross-linked 6% agarose, with a carboxymethyl (-O-CH2COO-) ion exchange group. The coupling optimize the chemical (e.g. elution behavior) and physical stability (e.g. pressure/flow rate) of the ion exchangers in process chromatography and cleaning-in-place procedures.
