Ni NTA Beads 6FF is an affinity resin designed for the efficient purification of 6xHis-tagged proteins expressed in expression vectors, such as E.coli, yeast, insect and mammalian cells. The resin exhibits high binding affinity and selectivity to 6xHis-tagged proteins. Ni NTA Beads 6FF is composed of the coupling of 90 µm beads of highly cross-linked 6% agarose to immobilised nitrilotriacetic acid (NTA) chelating ligand. The chelating group is pre-charged with nickel ions (Ni2+) in the centre of a stable octahedral structure.

The structure of Ni NTA Beads 6FF is compatible with specific concentrations of the respective reagents (i.e. reducing agents, denaturants and detergents). Ni NTA Beads 6FF is highly stable under a wide spectrum of suitable operating conditions. In addition to the convenient packaging, the high flow properties of Ni NTA Beads 6FF make it excellent for scaled up purification of histidine-tagged protein.
